The Board
The board is the infinite canvas where every project lives. Each node is a self-contained step (an image, a prompt, an output, a video) and connections between nodes describe how data flows.
Pan and zoom
- Pan: hold space + drag, or two-finger drag on a trackpad
- Zoom: pinch on trackpad, or scroll with the modifier key
- Fit view: press
Fto recenter on your work
Adding nodes
- Click the + in the toolbar and pick a node type
- Or drag a connection from any node out into empty space — Banana Flow will offer to create a compatible target node for you
Connections
Connections always flow left → right. Nodes have two kinds of target handles:
- prompt — accepts text from a Prompt node
- images — accepts one or more images from Image / Output / Video nodes
Output nodes generate a new image from connected prompts and images. Video nodes do the same for video.
Auto-save
Every change is auto-saved with a short debounce. There’s no save button. If you close the tab mid-generation, the work-in-progress will resume the next time you open the board.
Multiple boards
Boards are independent — each one is a separate project with its own nodes, connections, and storage budget. Manage them from the dashboard.
